After almost a full year of coding, Qnect.net is please to announce our new VOIP Server and Software platform is online.  What sets Qnect.net’s VOIP apart from the rest?  It was built entirely based on experience in the Voice Over IP field.  That means from the inside out our VOIP system has been built for speed, reliability, and most of all sound quality.

We are proud to announce the completion of a new tower location that bring Hood River up to over 150 megabits of bandwidth available.  We just finished a new tower overlooking all of Hood River.  This new tower is fully equipped for Voice over IP and for big bandwidth use.  With this new upgrade we can provide home connections with over 100 megabit links.  With this addition we will also be able to “multi-link” our towers.  What this means is that even if one of our major links into Hood River goes down, you will always have a secondary link.  As always Qnect.net is on the move to be the best in technology and these are the steps we are taking to achieve this.

We are proud to announce our latest addition to our network.  We have finished a new relay point that will serve The Dalles, Hood River, Mosier, White Salmon, and a few new surrounding areas.  The added capacity is over 120 megabits and has the potential to push over 500 megabits from this location.
